I’m a vegetarian mama that loves cooking and photography. Our family began our natural food eating journey by accident. We learned of my son’s food allergy when he was about a year old. Many processed foods are cross contaminated with allergens. As a result, we cook a significant portion of our foods from scratch at home.

This last year, we sought more local produce. Whole foods that are local and in season are simply tastier. It has been fun to find ways to “eat the seasons.”

Eating whole foods does not happen overnight. Little by little we have found better ways to enjoy healthier eating and occasional sweets. Here you will find a collection of recipes that are vegetarian and allergen conscience.
