What is more American than pizza? Maybe, pizza for dinner and dessert. Today we enjoyed a patriotic fruit pizza based on a recipe from Taste of Home. It is a quick treat to make since the crust is refrigerated cookie dough. Top it off with cream cheese thats been whipped with sweetener and flavor. Finally, decorate the tart with fresh fruit.

I swapped out honey in place of the sugar to “clean” up the recipe. Then made it nut free by using vanilla and lemon extract in place of almond extract. The lemon flavor gave it a nice fresh pop.
